Saints bounced back from their defeat at the hands of Gretna 2008 last week with a hard fought match with Mid Annandale.

It only took 13 minutes for Saints to open the scoring when Paul McClymont raced on to a pass to round the Mids 'Keeper to make it 1-0. On 34 minutes Paul McClymont got his second with a header.

Half Time 2-0

Saints never kept up the tempo of the first half and on 75 minutes Chris Norval pulled one back for Mids. Two minutes later Mids had the chance to equalise when they were awarded a penalty. Steven Anderson stepped up to hit it but saw his effort saved by Saints 'Keeper Shaun Hutchison. A minute later Saints were 3-1 up, young striker Matther McColm chipped the Mids 'Keeper and the ball came off the post for Paul McClymont to hit his hat trick. In the last kick of the game Matthew McColm flicked on a Paul McClymont cross for Ally McMillan to volley in Saints' fourth.
